when we were young and newly married,
i thought this the meaning that True Love carried:
presents of handphone, chocolate cadbury and flowers,
sharing coffee at Starbucks and Meal at Kenny Rogers..

but i have learned as our love matures
that there's more to lasting love like ours
caring for babies and sharing the flu,
remembering to say that I love you.
for we've good years behind us, and we're looking ahead.
not just taking love from marriage, but giving it instead.
